How long does it take for my order to ship? aka Processing Time

Silicone molds are made upon order. Depending on volume as well as life, it takes approximately 7 working days before an order is shipped. If there is unexpected longer processing time, it will be on the shop announcement section (upper right hand corner of website). I get migraines a lot and when this happens, I stop working on orders. Thus the padded turnaround time. Normally though, I ship within 3 days with no guarantee of such.

How long til I get my package? aka Shipping/ Transit Time

First off, make sure you enter the correct and full shipping address before you finalize purchase. Paypal protects sellers and buyers ONLY if the stated shipping address is followed. Plus, this streamlines the order fulfillment process as I can concentrate on making molds instead of trying to do admin work.

Labels will be printed once your package is ready to ship. Usually, USPS scans the package same night into their system. It might also take them another 24 hours to do so. Transit time will then depend on USPS volume. I HAVE NO CONTROL over how fast USPS delivers. I wish I do. Make sure you had put in complete and accurate shipping information, then sign up for package alerts once notification email sends you the tracking number.

There may be times that packages seem to be stuck in one location for days. When this happens, complete a Help Request Form or submit a Missing Mail Search (whichever is applicable) on the USPS website. Originating location (sender/seller location) is Redwood City, CA 94065. Almost all packages are shipped in a purple bubble mailer, for easier identification. (The USPS online form will ask for any identifying features of the package.) One bizarre thing that seems to work 50% of the time to jolt a package moving again within the system is signing up for the text or email notifications. Click on the tracking number to take you to the USPS site, and an option will be available to sign up for it.

I do recommend signing up for the free Informed Delivery of USPS. It allows you to know any incoming mail and packages so you can anticipate.

Do you offer discounts?

Single transactions of at least $50 ships for free within the United States via First Class Mail Package. Shop's goal is to offer the lowest possible price every day without need for sales events. That said, everything is handmade with care. The whole process is taxing especially when I chose to dive into the teeny tiny molds with so much little nooks and crannies. I have to trace each and every cranny to remove any trapped air bubbles in the silicone. I offer the best price for the time and effort and materials I put in. I might do sales or giveaways on occasions and these will be announced on Instagram. (www.instagram.com/kawaii.connection)

HOWEVER, Kawaii Rewards are coming and this means points redeemable for discounts as well as birthday and exclusive offers.

Can I request a custom mold design?

We currently do not take custom mold orders though we do have a running list of ideas we have plus buyers' wishlist. We work through it based on how much request we have for them. Kawaii Connection specializes in tiny and shaker bits and would love to hear any ideas you have for it that we can maybe offer in the near future.

What type of resin is recommended for these molds?

Definitely NOT UV Resin as UV resin requires clear molds. Epoxy resin is best and while the ones available in hobby stores are readily available, they are not the most amazing when ensuring quality of casts. Can I use a pressure pot with the molds sold by Kawaii Connection?

As a general rule, molds made without a pressure pot should not be used with resin inside a pressure pot too.
